A man found shot in his car in Newark Wednesday night died a short time later in what was Newark's fourth fatal shooting in just over an hour and a half, police said. Police were called to the 200 block of 4th Street at 9:43 p.m. for a report of shots fired and initially did not find anyone shot, but learned there was car crash nearby in the area of First Street and Sussex Avenue, according to a joint statement from the Newark Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor's Office. There they discovered Jayden Jarvis, 20, of East Orange, in his car suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
